Ready to start building?

Nice one! You've set up Raisely's appeal template. Here are a few tips on how you can customise the template to suit your campaign. When you're ready, select the bin icon in the row settings (top-right) to remove this row.

Our example content is a guide

We've filled this template with examples and a content framework you can follow, read each sections for tips on what to write there. Most people will skim this, so go for punchy copy.

You can change all the styling

This template will apply your Design settings, which you can access from the sidebar. Changing these will make your campaign feel more on-brand. If you want to turn off the shaped images, just click the paintbrush in the top left and set $hasOrganicShape to false.

Re-organise the page

You might not need everything here! Feel free to remove, add, or re-arrange rows. You'll find a collection of helpful row templates unique to this page simply by selecting the Add button (bottom-right) then Rows.

Community Connections

WCW is a place for the community, where people can come together to make new connections and products from upcycled materials; learn how to repair things which need to be fixed; and share resources and intergenerational knowledge.

We work to deliver products and programs to other trust and groups in our district. Kahu Youth, M!NT, Wanaka Backyard Trapping, The Lake Wanaka Grebes, Community Networks Food Banks, Cardrona, 4KT Elephant, Wastebusters, Lilliput Libraries, Cub Scouts, WAI, WAO, Te Kakano, Department of Conservation, QLDC, Rotary, Wanaka Garden Club, Friends of Bullock Creek, Touchstone Project, Fish and Game New Zealand plus many more.

But we could, and we will do more with community support.

Wanaka Community Workshop fills a need in the community for a place where people can access tools, knowledge, and companionship.

The environmental needs served by WCW include waste minimisation and waste reduction; and the realisation of circular economy principles in terms of repairing or upcycling broken items and using them for longer, instead of throwing things away and buying new stuff.

In turn, this accelerates a shift towards a low-carbon economy. By repairing and reusing broken items, the carbon emissions and waste generated by manufacturing, transporting and recycling/landfill processing is reduced.

The social needs served by the WCW include community building, upskilling, skill sharing and a place for companionship. The WCW is a unique space where people can pass on valuable, practical knowledge and create intergenerational connections with people from all ages and stages of life.
